The Bio-Elements are simply lowered into the waste enclosure or treatment basin. Air is injected towards the bottom of the Bio-Element where it rises to the surface. The ascending air generates a lifting stream that continuously recirculates the waste water. The same air is also used to supply the needed oxygen for the complete bioremediation to take place, so that the pollutants are eliminated by the microbial cultures growing on the biomedia tubes. The result is an elegant solution that requires no moving parts. On top of the elements are the telemetry sensors measuring FOG content, nitrogen and other vital parameters in addition to producing a live video stream for observation and trouble shooting.
